1. Have you worked out how you'll dispose of blades yet?

I saw a good thread on here about taking an old broth can (something of a thin consistency) and slicing a slot into the top with a Stanley knife. Will store years worth.

Some people just wrap and throw but I like my can :p

  2. I need to make a can. Thank you for the tip! I like that can idea. The can is more eco friendly too, because then it can be taken to a recycling station, instead of a landfill. :happy088:

  12. I assume you don't leave your blade in your razor (very good idea). After seeing rusty razors in my razors I've bought; I don't leave blades in them. :D
  13. Let me know how the cat magnet works for you. Maybe I could get one for my wifey, and help her get over her phobia. Hey, if I can get one shaped like a snake, I might get her over two phobias at once. :happy097:
  14. Yup. That Bay Area. I'm further south of "The City" 45 minutes by car.

  15. Nope! I don't. Gotta take care of that investment. ;)

  16. Excellent start up with your kit. Personally, you made a great pick with the Maggard 26mm "Granite" synthetic brush. Excellent soft tips with decent backbone and splay. The handle is nearly perfect in weight and size. Creates a killer lather whether via bowl or on the real estate. And for the $$$, that brush is hard to beat. Now, just food for thought. If you enjoy the "Granite", take a look at their Black & White synthetic knots, especially the 30mm. Sheer, pure lathering bliss. Better than a "basket of golden fried calf fries" you betcha...:happy036:

  19. This going to sound like a strange question, but how many shaves do you get out of a blade? Depending on the blade of course, I can get anywhere from four (Derby Premium) to eighteen (Polsilvers) shaves from a blade. That all said a face has less real estate than a pair of legs. As I said a strange question. :signs002:
