Thank you. I had a question, is there chocolate in the rum runner? I Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My last score for September: I tried to grab some SV 70th soap from a fine gentleman on one of the fora, but I was too late. He offered me a great deal on some SV Tundra soap and AS that he hadn't even listed for sale. The soap may have been used once. It is basically brand new, and I can still see the imprint. The AS looks pretty full, too. I had never used Tundra or any SV aftershave so I took him up on the offer. Thanks Pal.
It's here, it's here! The Jayaruh 221 has arrived and it's nicer than I had imagined! This is an awesome brush and I'm happy to be a member of the jayaruh brush club. It will have its maiden voyage tomorrow morning. Thank you @Jayaruh .
This week's procurements. The GEM was a flea market find today. The Pacific razor and Barbasol Pacific Rush were secured from Big Lots. The Edwin Jagger Chatsworth and the stand, though not antiques, were nonetheless found hiding in an antique shop. The Wild West Shave Soap came from, coincidentally, Wild West Shave Co. Well, I went back to the antique store where I found the Edwin Jagger, as the same vendor had a couple more razors. I didn't know what they were at first as there are no markings, but at the $15 (each) tag I thought they looked nice and it is, after all, open comb October. A quick search told me I one-upped my Edwin Jagger Purchase. Two Joris razors and assorted blades. $30 total. One gold plated in Thuja wood, the other appears to be Palladium and Rosewood. Good times. I am now set for OCtober. And I have found a vendor I will be revisiting. I suspect they bought an estate sale and brought it in, though. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
