I used my Genco vanadium razor this morning. It was the maiden voyage for my newly acquired @Jayaruh 221 brush. Wonderful shave and wonderful brush. Every day should start this good.
Colombia Cutlery Worcester MA 5/8 I honed this razor on Sharpton Glass up to 16K.Than Finished on a Dan's Surgical Black.Edge came our Super Keen and mostly smooth .Dolphin Smooth in two passes.
Tonight's shave was an absolute pleasure, with one of my "Top Shelf Shavers". I had a super smooth 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. Zero issues, just awesome smoothness. Razor- Shapleigh, St Louis, USA. Brush- Sterling Boar Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy Aftershave- Shulton/P&G Old Spice. Circa 1993, when Proctor & Gamble bought out Shulton.
Nice hot shave outside at dusk in Theodore Roosevelt national park in ND. Shaving outside with a small mirror and a bowl of hot water adds a whole new dimension to a str8 shave M

Currently my one and only straight my Frederick Reynolds. Acceptable but not as smooth as I would like. Good news is not nicks or cuts but still struggling with the left hand and angles. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Tonight's shave was with a nice solid Sheffield made razor. I had a nice 2 pass shave, with minor touch-ups, that left me with a DFS. Zero issues, just a solid, well built razor. Razor- Geo Wostenholm & Sons IXL Celebrated Hollow Ground Razor. Half Hollow, Cast steel. Brush- Omega 10066 Boar Soap- Arko/Avon Spicy Aftershave- Florida Water+
Nice shave, I've gotta dig out my Arko some time. It's mashed in a sugar bowl in the back of my shaving cabinet, forgotten and neglected. Shave soap abuse, I should be reported... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Another shave with the W&B. Good thing I took the Swaty along Several ultra light passes on the be; brought the edge back to life. I used Proraso green, followed by Barbasol brisk as. When I walked out in the 35 deg SD air, talk about face freeze All in a good way
Always happy to see this one come around in the rotation! Another 'favorite,' this old Greaves & Sons stub tail feels so different due to its long, heavy blade and grind. Killer-sharp edge. Just a fun old razor to shave with!
