Another Jayaruh Celtic Knot Handle

Here is another attempt at the Celtic knot. I did a different approach to this one. I also did some insets at the top of the handle. First picture is after it is all glued up.


Here I have the basic shape of the handle.


Here I stuck in an Ace synthetic for the picture.


I dubbed this one JR #230.


After two coats of polycrylic, I took this picture with a dry set Ace synthetic knot. I have other knots coming. We shall see which one will end up in this handle.

Thank you. Yeah, I hear you. I never intended on going this far, but here we are. I do enjoy doing it though.

 

Love it. My son (15) also really liked it. He said the light color of the knot matched the color of the Celtic knot. This one is a keeper, since my son has very high standards.

Beautiful! I love the colors and how they contrast each other. If I got another one so soon, my wife would have a fit!
