October 6 - Fat Friday and otherwise totally unFocussed Brickell Face Scrub PAL adjustable injector / Personna (4?) Semogue Owners Club cherrywood boar brush Kent/MWF in wooden tub Alum and Lucky Tiger I decided to play it safe today because I plan to get my photo taken for my driver's license renewal. I don’t want to spend the next five years looking at a photo of me with scratches and blood spots on my face, so all my OC razors were out. I went with a now familiar injector loaded with a well-smoothed blade. I let both my boar brush and my MWF puck soak while I washed my face, then squeezed the brush nearly dry and went to work. Loading for twice as long as normal left the brush looking very heavily loaded with soap. I then bowl lathered with a palmful of water and got a good lather. I may actually be starting to learn the quirks of this new boar brush. Two passes with the injector got me from a hayfield to smooth skin without any nicks, weepers or irritation. Mr. Alum kept his mouth shut today and the Lucky Tiger gave me a nice orange finish to a pleasant shave. I am clean and smooth with a slim fighting chance of not having a horrible photo on my license for the next five years... Hope everyone has a good weekend!
Very late to the party...but, sweet score!! Both look awesome! Can't say that I've heard of Joris either.
This is quite embarrassing. I communicated many times back and forth with Charlie setting up the brush project. I think I just need to focus on my next meeting and not trying to follow the thread for a few hours. Sorry, Charlie.
Fantastic travel setup Jason. The New LC is a great razor. He just keeps getting cuter as he grows up. Thanks for posting the Friday photos.
Congrats on getting the boar brush figured out. I bet its lathering ability improves as it gets more broken in.
Long before I became a Mod I started a text file I named "TSD Intel". Mostly it's just User names and first names. Mostly... Tapatalk Via Kyocera
How great first I have to worry about what the Feds have on me. Now I have to also worry about what the Mods here at TSD have on me too. Where is my tin foil hat?
In all honesty though I may have to start a list of names also as I am bad with names. That's why I call everybody sir or ma'am..
If THEY are watching you it's already too late. Be sure you're up on latest tin foil hat tech - you watch the reflection model, not the antenna type. My list is only to defeat EOA and for politeness during our conversations. No personal data beyond first names & occasionally a city if someone isn't CONUS. My PM's go pages deep from trading gear if I need a mailing address. Since I drive a 1986 Ranger it's not like I'd come knocking. Tapatalk Via Kyocera
Jason, I was just having some fun with you. All is OK. You just had a senior moment a few decades ahead of schedule. Have a great day and safe travels, my friend!
