  2. Man, Brian! You must be living right ;). I can't seem to find razors anywhere around here, and when I do ; it's highly priced junk. Glad you found some nice hardware :happy088:

  8. This is what the above blades go into. This is to be on the way, as soon as the payment situation is ironed out. Some French sellers don't like PayPal, and only want checks. What a pain.

  11. I plan on cleaning them up, and honing each one, then I can have a compact 7 Day Travel Set. All I have to figure out then, is what type of storage case to use, for the setup.

  15. Thanks, I like them too. I already have a couple, but I've wanted a 7 day set of the blades. I hadn't seen them too often, in good shape.

  16. I picked up this George Wostenholm & Son razor in an antique store some time ago. It is remarkably good condition -- blade and edge are in good shape, scales are tight. There is some staining on the blade and tang, but I generally don't like to dig too deep to work it out. On the reverse side the inscription on the tang reads as follows (I tried to get a picture of it but it was showing up well): "George Wostenholm & Son Sole manufacturer of the original true (image of pipe) razor." I am anxious to get this one on the stones. I love the weight and balance of this razor. As for a date...I am guessing between 1890 and 1910. (I wish they date stamped these things like Gillette did with his date codes!)

  20. I love it when eBay sellers can’t spell. This was listed as Wreck/Craftsman razors. They were taking offers and I made an offer that I was surprised they accepted. I did well.
