OCtober 12, 2017 Pre-shave: hot shower No brush Barbasol Sensitive Skin shaving cream Razor: Gem Micromatic OC Blade: Gem Blue Star (2) Post-shave: Dickinson WH, Nivea Sensitive Balm, Pinaud Musk Cologne I had been out fishing most of the day so didn't get showered and shaved until this evening. Just wanted a quick shave since it's soon off to bed. I picked up this Sensitive Skin Barbasol last week at Walmart in their travel section bins. I don't believe I've ever used it before. It was very nice. I especially like the scent which reminds me of a Sandalwood scent. Overall, a very good, satisfying shave. I hope everyone is enjoying his / her week!

Friday's OC Shave Proraso Pre Shave Soap Commander Renewal Jayaruh #222 Gillette Sheraton Gillette Silver Blue CWR Thayer's Peach WH Pinaud Vanilla I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Soap Commander Renewal face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #222 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gillette Sheraton razor and Gillette Silver Blue blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Pinaud Vanilla AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Saturday's Straight/OC Shave Proraso Pre Shave Soap Commander Renewal Jayaruh #222 Weck U.S. Military Straight Personna Super Stainless Hair Shaper Gillette NEW LC Gillette Silver Blue CWR Thayer's Peach WH Pinaud Vanilla I used my new to me Weck Sextoblade U.S. Military Straight for the first time. No stropping necessary. I used a Personna Super Stainless Hair Shaper blade. Then, for OCtober, I finished up with my Gillette NEW LC with Jayaruh handle. I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. Trying to find the right blade for the aggressive SE2. This combination razor/blade is much milder than the Feather Artist Club ProGuard blade. Both Kai blades (Kai Captain Titan Mild Luffy and Kai Captain Titan ProTouch MG) are more comfortable than this blade.
