My second home-made brush

    Hi everyone.

    Just finished my second brush. I shaped the handle similar to the Semogue brushes, because I think they are some of the most comfortable to use. Knot is a 26mm Maggard Synthetic - and I have no idea what kind of wood this is ... found that piece in my workshop and I liked the color in combination with the knot.

    Did you use a lathe to shape the handle, or was it all by hand?

    Yes, I turned the handle on a lathe. I am not talented enough to hand-carve something with that precision ;)

    Actually yes, that's possible. I received a larger chunk of Elm some time ago and this could have been a leftover.
