Gillette New SC comparable to what slim setting ?

    I'm curious as to what setting the Gillette New SC is comparable to on a Slim. Thanks.

    Based on blade gap the New is just slightly milder than a Slim on 2. Of course head geometry and other factors come into play. The NEW SC to me is a bit more aggressive than the LC and I would say feels like the Slim/Fatboy on 6 or 7 as well.

    Thinking back on my weekday shaves with my SA-109 and Slim I'd say it was closer to 7. That's what I use after the 9 & 8 on my two day growth on Sunday.

    A setting of 6 or 7, based upon my experience with both razors.
