  3. Nice b&w photo. Sounds like you are off to a great start with the new razor, Keith.
  4. Cool photo, Jim! Love the look of that Sheraton.
  5. I did do the refrigerator soak with a Boar, Perry. I think it is probably worth trying. Seeing that Baker St bottle, I think I need to pick some up on my next order.
  6. Love the mug with the Schick razor, Brian!
  7. OCtober 18th Travel SOTD

This travel set-up will be my shave kit for the next few days. I packed the Palmolive Stick after seeing some forum talk about it and realizing I hadn't used it in a while. Packed the Gentleman as I can slather it on without offending SWMBO.
Had a great shave this morning. What a nice, reliable combo.
    Have a great day all!

  8. What exactly is the refrigerator soak? The Baker Street scent is terrific! I'm still easily getting the scent 8 hours later.
  9. Great travel setup Jason.

  11. Someone is this thread described the process. I can’t seem to recall who.

  13. I picked it up on one of these threads. Others can point to where it is exactly. Basically, soak the brush in a refrigerator overnight, and then 'brush' a towel for 10 minutes. Repeat again after another 24 hours. It does speed up the tip-splitting process.

  14. Thank you, Clint. I'm a little off focus for a few days, but I do love this razor.
  15. Nothing wrong with that at all. Safe travels.

  16. It was me. I got it from @BambulanceMan. Stick your brush in a cup of water in the refrigerator for 3 days. When you pull it out, hand lather it. It does help with the break-in time. At least for me it did and as we all know YMMV.
  17. It really kick starts split ends on your badger brush. I take it out every 24 hours and agitate it on a dry towel. 3 days total.

  18. With 4 kids, I don't travel through airports too often for fun. ;)

Most of my travel with them is in the car.
  19. Thank you, Jason!
