"The Perfector", a completely mysterious French contribution to shaving, was near perfect indeed. I came very close to abandoning the third pass on the beard, and dispatched with the head shave in one plus cleanups. I'm looking forward to another shave with the Rockwell handle which is also a good fit. Finished the last of the Coate's Tea Tree which is fantastic stuff.

Easy, thick, slick, lather. Vintage Gillette “Spoiler” SS in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close shave. I finished with Stirling Arkadia aftershave. Bob

Sunday Oct. 22,2017 Razor: Razorock Hawk Blade: Kai Titan Mild(1) Pre Shave: Homemade Brush: VDH Badger Lather: Proraso Green AS: Brut Splash On I got a new pack of Kai blades to fit my "Hawk", thanks to PickledNorthern. I held off for two days, just couldn`t wait any longer, and it was well worth it, boy what a nice shave, definitely a BBS, almost like going to the barber. I hope everyone did as well on this nice warm Sunday Fall day in Southern, Or. Two WTG/ATG unbelievable passes, the wider blade served me well. The Hawk razor has an almost perfect feel in my hand. Hi together, here is my Sunday Shave: Razor: iKon SBS Head w. Jürgen Hempel Handle / Blade: Astra SP / Soap: Tabac / Brush: Plisoon Synthetic / Aftershave: Floid Vigoroso My new head...it´s absolutely wonderful!!! It´s so gentle, smooth and thoroughly, that it´s a pure joy to shave with it. Great!!! The Astra SP is a great pairing, but i think there can be more. I will try it with my favourite blade next shave...a Gillette Bleue Extra. The rest of the shave is history...temperatures outside deserve to shave with Tabac. Together with the Plisson Synthetic the lather was build up withing seconds and gave great cushion and glide...and than that scent...hmmmm... Last but not least my Floid Vigoroso...mentholated, but the scent is a very good addition to the scent of the Tabac. I like it a lot. That´s it for now Friends.
