Sad to say the weekend is over already. The "Soap Destroyer" continues to whip up the lather and eat the soap. I went with a traditional 3 pass shave this morning followed by touch ups along my jawline and lower right neck. Catching the baby was not in the cards this morning but I ended with a great shave. A splash of Folsom & Co Capri and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

    Razorock Plissoft Brush
    CO Bigelow SC
    Gillette Sheraton
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Proraso Green AS

I am really enjoying this razor. It is fun, shaves well, and is easy to use. I also really like the CO Bigelow and Proraso combination. It all came together for a great Monday morning shave. I hope everyone has a great day!

  5. Thank you, Doug! Have a great day!
  6. Thank you Jim.

The Sheraton is one of the coolest razors. I was very impressed with the CO Bigelow SC as well.

    Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick E2 injector
    Brush: Surrey badger
    Lather: Arko shave stick
Post: Witch hazel, Barbasol Pacific Rush aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Back to a focus shave with the Arko stick. Likely the best Arko lather I've achieved was this morning. It started off what I thought was a little too wet but all of that hydration worked in and created a nice lather. Arko's post-shave feel isn't great but it gets the job done overall. A couple of weepers on my chin from user error with the E2. I have to be really careful with this razor and the rainy morning didn't help my concentration. Nice shave in the end despite that.

    Have a great day!

It's Menthol Monday, and I enjoyed a fantastic two-pass shave to start the week. I'm heading off for my volunteer assignment and then to a guitar lesson.

  14. Clint, if the Wolfman shaves half as good as it looks, it's a keeper. Beautiful set up, today!
  15. Jim, there's something about those Sheratons that I really like. Yours is a beauty. Maybe one day I will run across one. Happy Monday!

First time with any Supsy Soapery product this morning. Got the Jack Frost via a trade. This mentholated soap has fir needle, orange and spice listed on it and had a very unique scent in the tub. It is a very soft soap. I face-lathered a top notch lather, it really didn't take much to get this dialed in. After 3 passes, plus a fair amount of neck touchup, I am very near BBS. No evidence of the blood or irritation like last time- back to regular shaves.
The scent from the soap is very unique andI don't have anything else anywhere near like it. I'll use it a few more times here and there to try to get a better handle on the scent. The menthol is not over the top and kind of sneaks up on you as you face-lather it. Finishing with the Reserve Spice is always a good idea.
    Have a great day all!
  17. You made it back from the Band Contest, Perry! How did you all do?
