There was barely any visible hone wear on this Old English Gal and after a light polishing there is none at all...I only did a light polishing and buffing to the steel, and brought it to a near mirror finish, many would call this a Mirror I do not The scales are Custom Camel Bone and are a thin .105" thick much like the Old Bone scales were during this time period.. They polished out just beautifully and were polished twice more using Renaissance wax to seal them well.. The outer washer were made by a friend of mine and the the closest I have ever seen to the original style used on Sheffield razor back in the day down to the under cap washers to prevent the outer from collapsing.. The wedge is at .063" at the very end made from Recon Green Malachite.. The razor centers perfectly, and is a near wedge grind made from Sheffield Cast Steel.. If you like Heavy English steel this is one you really want.. Measured at 6/8 inch at the smaller side slightly higher at the tall side...



Something to ask me about is the Elk Antler Brush that has a Green Malachite base that will match wonderfully with this Razor.. The pics are not up because I am waiting for the 20mm Super Silvertip knot to get here There is a deal to be had if you want both...

The scales are Custom Yellow & Black G10 that have been contoured to bring out the Bumblebee effect and are a thin .115" beautifully contoured much like the Vintage scales to fit the hand while shaving and stropping. The wedge is at .055" at the very end made from a Translucent Yellow acrylic to match the scales, and continue the Bumblebee effect.. The razor centers perfectly, and the double hollow grind delivers a smooth comfortable shave...
