  1. Isn't it French in origin? I've used one tuck, and considered ordering more.
  2. Greece.

    Great minds....
  4. Saturday shave:

Broke out one of the J Wests, it still has the edge that the last owner put on it.... and he did a great job. The edge was very very smooth and very sharp. I thought it was going to be an epic shave again but two small weepers denied me.

I enjoy relaxing Saturday shaves. The Nuávia Rossa is very easy to lather. While a little soap goes a long way, it is not as long lasting as MdC. The scent is the star and lingers for a long time. Both Maya and my wife have commented on the Rossa Scent this week. Since I have the time, I went with another 3 pass shave this morning. With touchups along my jaw line I had the baby in sight so I did an additional 1/4 pass on my lower right neck. The baby was caught without an drama, nicks, weepers or irritation. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

  10. Thank you, Charlie! There is definitely some heft and very little flex with that blade.

I just hope there is something for my wife to come back to and help put back together.
  11. Great picture, Charlie! Although, I have a strange urge for some chocolate.
  12. Beautiful picture, Clint! Great composition!
  13. Thank you, Jim! Have a great weekend, my friend.
  14. Wow! Fantastic photo, Clint!
  15. Thank you Jim and Charlie. My wife was critical of this photo suggesting it would have been better taken on an angle to show more of the bristles. :D
  16. Friends, my wife was in a wreck last night on the way home from our football game. She had our little boy with her.

First off, they are both fine. My wife is banged up pretty badly and may have a small break near her right big toe, but otherwise is fine. Our son is completely fine. He was in a rear facing seat, and boy did it ever work.

I left the football game and rushed to where the wreck was. Scary stuff.

It was a significant impact and her car is totaled. It'll be fun doing all the insurance business that is to come!

I can't begin to express how lucky they are and how thankful I am. It could have been much, much worse. I wanted to share with you all because this crew is close knit and I knew you would want to know. Thanks for your support and prayers.
  17. Thank you Doug!
  18. I am so glad there were no serious injuries. Your family is in my prayers!
  19. My goodness, Perry. So glad to hear that the injuries are nowhere near what they could have been. So very thankful that your young son is unharmed. Scary stuff.
  20. The first of a dozen mystery soaps and creams. Nice shave today.
