  1. Well I am now back on the mainland after a weeklong cruise with my girls and Mickey. I was so strung out from work that I didn’t start relaxing until Thursday, but I’m in semi-zen mode at the moment as I write this. Anyway, great memories were made.

Despite the small bathroom on the cruise ship, I was able to become pretty proficient with the N-S pass with the straight, and started adding (or should I say trying to add) a S-N Pass by the end of the week. It’s almost like hitting the reset button and going back into idiot mode for the second pass. Do you dark siders change your grip for the second pass? Suggestions welcome.

No focus this month (unless I choose to focus on exposing more facets of the Russian Cartel cookie scam).
  2. Razor: Gillette Red Tip
    Blade: Personna Tungsten (3)
Brush: El Druida Red Heart Chakte Kok/African Blackwood 2 Band
    Soap: Nuavia Blu
    A/S: Floid Blue

I never done a 30 day rule before, so I think this will be it.

  3. Welcome back Randy. At least you were able to relax some on the cruise.
  4. Gorgeous photo and brush Amigo. I am breaking out the Blu next week. :happy088:
  5. Great looking setup for a rule, Doug!
  6. Thanks, Clint!
  7. Thank you Clint. I really like this soap. :happy088:
  8. Welcome home, Randy! I'm glad you and your family had a relaxing trip. You're the first guy I know of that's used a straight razor on a cruise ship. I'm sure the ship's motion made that interesting at times.

  9. Thank you Randy. Hope you had good time.
  10. Doug, that's a terrific photo and set up for a rule. I will follow your progress with interest, as I'm eyeing the Nuavia soap. I hope your Saturday is going well. The clocks are moving back tonight here.
  11. Thank you Charlie. Thank for the clocks going back reminder. I wasn't sure what I was going to do this month until I finished my shave tonight. The picture is the webbing on one of our dinning room chairs that we had redone a number of years ago. The dinning room set belonged to my parents.
  12. I agree. I will be alternating Rossa and Blue for the remainder of the month. Which of the scents to you have? And like best?
  13. Excellent picture, Doug!
  14. That's a great question Clint, and a difficult one to answer. In my opinion the Blu is the best with Rossa a close second. Vert is definitely number 3.
  15. Thanks very much Jim.

  16. It is a hard question for me since both scents are so good. For me Rossa just edges out Blu. I had hoped that Reef Point Dragon's Blood would be a less expensive soap with a similar scent to Blu but I didn't find it to be the case. I have never tried Verde but most pick it as their third favorite.
  17. Blu and Rossa are very close. It can easily go either way. I was a little disappointed with Dragon's Blood.
  18. I was a little disappointed in Dragon's Blood as well. The performance was great but not the scent. I am so happy I tried Tranquility. I will be rebuying it when I empty the current tub.
  19. I would also recommend folks not get nuts with it. It being anything mentholated.
  20. Opportunity knocks once, but temptation likes to lean on the doorbell. :happy108:
