I love the warm colors of the photo. Jason you've made every effort to make the soap work. I would consider just moving on to the next soap a day early.
John congrats on the CH 2 Synthetic. I actually like the knot in my Ivory better than the LE. I have never tried the Simpson Shaving Cream but I think Mark @Boojum1 has.
November 7 SOTD: Stirling Boar Brush Stirling Baker Street Schick Type J Stirling Unscented PSB Stirling Baker Street AS Two passes and very near BBS. If I had done just a bit of clean up, I would have caught it. As it is is, I will take the comfortable DFS. The Baker Street is a terrific scent, and is officially SWMBO approved. I hope everyone has a great day!
November 7, 2017 Colonial Razors General Feather Super Pro (7) Zenith B2 Boar Nuàvia Rossa Everything worked well together this morning and provided a wonderful relaxing shave. The big boar whipped up more than enough rich slick lather for 3 passes and touch ups. I ended up just missing the baby which is more than good enough for a work morning. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.
Beautiful picture, Clint! I know I have mentioned it, but I really enjoy your pictures with the Nuavia dishes. They just look classy. Thank you! It's a wonderful scent.

Thank you Jim. It is hard to take a bad picture with the Nuavia containers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

SOTD November 7, 2017 Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: GEM stainless Razor: GEM 1912 Brush: Surrey badger Lather: Stirling The Lounge Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf aftershave WTG, touch up I really enjoy this combination of Stirling and Jeeves software. Both are high quality and lend themselves to a nice shave. The 1912 is an okay razor for me. I prefer the Pushbutton or Featherweight over the 1912, but any of them give a good shave. The 1912 is not quite as smooth as the others. In any event, all came together quite nicely. Have a great day!
Great setup and picture, Jim! Glad the Baker Street is approved. I really enjoy that scent. Beautiful photo as always! Great photo and setup, Mark!

November 7 Weber SS Gillette Silver Blue (3) Simpson Chubby 2 Super MdC - unscented Thayers Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, Fine L'Orange Noir aftershave, and Terre d’Hermès Parfum I had a pretty good shave this morning, though I hurried somewhat and had a couple of operator errors. The Soap Destoryer rewarded me with plentiful MdC lather. In addtion to the lather in the scuttle, I had a heavy coating on my face. (Yes, I'm thankful nobody saw me setting up the photo with a face full of lather. ) I used the "good stuff" at the request of my Bride, and she approved the layered scents with a score of 8 out of 10. Thumbs up on my first run with the GSB, discounting today's shave due to my mistakes. The next blade in my focus is the Astra SP. I hope you all have a great day.
