The Barber's Delight Straight Razor Modified Barbershop Boar Brush (restored) Love My Skin Barber Shop 1920's Soap Dickinson's Witch Hazel Lucky Tiger Aspen After Shave
6/8 Friodur RR Emperor Cashmere knot I was reading a biography on Napoleon and when I seen the label on this soap I couldn't pass it up, good stuff IMO. This is the brush I dropped in the belt sander so I ordered another knot and hope to make another handle this week end. Nice shave today. Have a good one.
A relatively recent addition to the stable: KC Seelbach “Buddy” 5/8. It seems to be a fairly obscure name. At least I don’t know much (anything) about this brand. This is a handsome razor that shaves very nice. Tonight’s shave left me dolphin smooth after three passes.
It was time to use my Kiebitz and I was not disappointed. A recent touch up on my Naniwa stones really brought this fellow back to one of my favorites in my den.
Veterans Day Shave Proraso Pre Shave Musgo Real Jayaruh #220 Russian Rocket Raketa Straight CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Aqua Velva I started off with a prayer of thanksgiving for all those who have served in our armed forces. All gave some, some gave all. May God bless them all. Next, I applied some Proraso Pre Shave. The Musgo Real Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #220 synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Russian Rocket Raketa Straight and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Aqua Velva AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
5/8 Case Red Imp MWF Cashmere knot Decent shave but should have been better. I'll touch it up before the next one. Have a good one.
