Noble Otter: Flying Hide provided an excellent base for today's quick shave, but bye 'eck it's a thirsty beast... I mean, WOW, it's a very thirsty little otter, but boy, does it produce a wonderful lather. Well impressed.

A great two pass BBS shave which felt so good and chilly - the Palmolive Menthol cream lathered like a champ and gave me its icy jolt. The Lucky Tiger balm delivered plenty of cooling protection, and the Black Powder aftershave hit me with a beautifully-scented chill as well! Enjoy the weekend!

Woodsy Friday I won this soap in a PIF recently from Max Schaefer. It is a vegan formula with a Christmas tree scent. The scent is spot on and just the right intensity. It made me feel like I was walking through a fir tree forest or shopping for a live tree for Christmas. The lather was easy to load and build on my face. It provided plenty of residual slickness for touch ups without relathering. The post shave feel is soft and smooth, as it pairs very well with Krampert's Finest Frostbite. Overall a very good first impression! I'll have to use it more to review it more completely, but at first blush it measures up well with other top vegan soaps. I did not miss the tallow today at all. Couple of weepers on the chin and left side of the neck, but nothing major. Good old fashioned fun! Have a great day!
