Just picked up a nice Reed & Barton silver plate Atra. It has a monogrammed J at the end. I’m not a huge fan of cartridge razors but it reminds me of a razor my grandpa had. Couldn’t argue with the price for $5!

I am blown away by all the cool stuff everyone has gotten this month.

I would have picked it up last year but find Ever-Ready \ GEM S.E razors and blades do better with my aging coarser beard vs D.E. blades. Don't know if it's the thicker blades or mass of he razor head that assists in ploughing through greying whiskers.

Mail call from Arkansas today. I ordered SWMBO some more Witchy Woman bath soap and added a few things for myself. The Executive Man bath soap sample is a freebie to tempt me. LOL

Picked this up today.

I use Gem razors and also like them. I also have that same Bostonian (Canada) and it's a fine shaver and my favorite open comb. But that is a nice cased set.........

Another handle to restore. Hopefully will be done by the weekend!

That brush looks good enough to use as is. Very nice!

Debating throwing a higher end knot in it but I guess that will depend on whoever buys it. I hate selling the greens but there is so much demand and I already have a few nice brushes from past restorations.

Okay, so I fell off the wagon big time. I’ll brush myself off and climb back up.

I picked up the Schick type O clone. It’s a nice shaver, is a decent quality build and has some heft for an injector. I got it at eBarbershop.

Happens to the best of us. Looks like something out of Star Trek TNG!

I haven't posted any acquisitions in several weeks so I've got a few.
Seems like I've got enough time to buy stuff; just not enough time to clean it up, take pictures, and post it.
Most of what I'm listing was probably acquired in October but it's been a very busy fall.

Anyhow, first up, a nice little Gillette travel kit. Usually the mirrors in these things have flaked but this one is in good shape.



Next up is an NOS bottle of Flag & Sail a/s (the ribbon is still intact - never opened)



and a gold Stahly that needs a good cleaning

and a Pocket Edition that was black when I got it so I'm surprised how well it cleaned up

I think the case and razor are mismatched but it doesn't matter to me.

A Gem razor in a box for $20 - at least that's what the price tag said...
