  1. :thanks: Clint.
  2. Thank you Charlie. The OneBlade is a great razor for me. If someone is looking for something that requires skill and thought, the OneBlade is not for them. Near perfect shaves with zero thought and little skill are the norm. Even though the Genesis can become boring, I can easily see it getting the most use over the next year.

  4. I will say that the 400 is different from my normal brush preferences.
  5. Thank you for the detailed write up on the Simpson Sandalwood. It seems as if every Sandalwood soap has a different profile.
  6. Great picture Charlie.

  7. Wow. Great photo Mark. That brush turned out great. I am glad to see you are enjoying it.
  8. That is my next Fine Aftershave to try. My wife loves Sandalwood scents.
  9. The C-30 photographs well. I love it!
  10. Thank you, Clint!
  11. Thank you, gentlemen. Like you, Charlie, I am a sandalwood fan. Just not a huge fan of this one. I have a Gold Dachs Sandalwood soap that I really like as well as the Klar version, and the TSD sandalwood soap is also pretty good. Lastly I have the TOBS Sandalwood cream that I like as well as Mr. Taylor's which is a mixture.

And I just noticed today that my as-yet untried samples include no less than four more sandalwoods - Trumper and Salter creams and soaps from B+M (Latha Sandalwood that smells like it has citrus in it) and Fendrihan (Lavender+Sandalwood).

And yes, they all do seem to have different profiles.

And I am afraid of them all, the Simpsons is the one I like least as a scent. It's still pretty good and given a choice between it and no sandalwood at all, I would grab it, but.... I won't deny I'm a bit disappointed after buying the tub.
  12. Was nice to go with the Fields&Streams again(Local Gent Shaving Co.), but I think the next shave with that should be the last. I'm beginning to scrape the bottom. Another indication-I had a weeper around the chin, but perhaps that could be blamed on the fact that it was m 3rd go-round with my disposeABLE. Let's see what a fresh blade does with the small amount of F&S left.

  17. Brian and Tom, that is so cool!
  18. What is this mythical day you speak of? Isn't this why we all switched from carts and canned goo?
Amazing photo, Clint! I think you got your monies worth out of that Gem blade!
Fantastic photo, Charlie! Are you developing a favorite out of the Russian blades you've been using ?
    Excellent composition, Mark!
  19. Wonderful picture, Mark!
  20. Thank you Andrew. Even better I have a tray with over 90 Gem Blades. I can shave for years with the OneBlade. :happy102:
