  1. Happy Thanksgiving! Yesterday I needed a quick shave to get ready for work. Still had a Rapira SS in the Tech, and went for a quick two passes. Got a high grade DFS, even though I wanted to be able to shave on T-day. I will post today’s shave a little later.

  3. Just FYI, I’m feeling like the most high tech Thanksgiving turkey barbecue pit master you’ve ever met. My big green egg temperature is being controlled by a fan hooked up to a controller which controls fan speed, and is connected to my phone via WiFi. I can monitor and control it from inside. Let me know if anyone wants a chart of the bird’s temperature over time. Oh, and there’s fire and hickory involved too!

  6. If you're going this far, then a chart of the grill temp vs internal turkey temp is a must.

  7. Another beauty, Charlie. So...how long until you open a scrapbooking store? ;)
  8. For many, the blue of the baseplate matching the bowl brim would be coincidence, Clint. For you, it is more evidence of your meticulous care. Beautiful.
  9. Great gear, Adam. The fat-handled Tech is another simple, fantastic razor, IMHO.
  10. You're welcome!

    Prep: Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick G8 injector
    Brush: Omega Hi synthetic
    Lather: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave
    WTG, touch up

Fat Friday setup a day early. Terrific shave overall. I rubbed on the remaining lather at the end of the shave like a balm. Mitchell's is great soap and leaves your skin feeling soft and hydrated. Really nice overall.

    Happy Thanksgiving!
