Sunday morning November 26 Delta Echo Ink black Gillette Slim on 4 / Topaz Platinum ( 2 ) Simpsons Chubby 2 Synthetic My Red Green Duct Tape Special Italian frankensoap Alum and Lucky Tiger (and styptic pencil) The CH2 Synthetic loaded a good super goop lather from my Italian almond soap this morning. It does seem to take a lot of soap to fill that brush; I can see why some owners nickname it "The Soap Destroyer". It pairs well with this soap to make a pleasant face covering lather. The Slim delivered a two-pass DFS this morning with one slight bobble. I have a small patch of thickened skin like scar tissue in the crease below the left side of my mouth. I didn't skinstretch hard enough and ended up shaving down the patch, giving myself a painless weeper. In the end, I used the styptic pencil to stop the last bit of spotting. Other than that, it was an excellent shave. With a healthy dose of Lucky Tiger to finish off, I left the bathroom smelling like a Christmas orange. Have a good Sunday.
"The Soap Destroyer" earns the name. Really it is a huge dense knot that takes more soap. Using it regularly will thin the soap inventory down in no time.
Good to know. As things stand, with this weekend's highly necessary purchases of Soapy Bathman, Jeeves of Hudson Street and especially Martin de Candre soaps, I think my soap inventory is now good for at least 25 years minimum.
Tell him not to bother. As my defense, I’m planning to run for congressional office. Then I’ll be untouchable and get the nation’s only affordable (i.e. free) healthcare plan and a permanent pension (i.e. salary). Checkmate!
That just proves just how good an Aristo loaded with a Vosky will shave! I think it makes @NCoxSTL look younger and rather dashing.
I’ll let Asha know. My team won too. http://www.espn.com/college-football/game?gameId=400933934 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Awesome, Clint! Tell Asha that everyone in Kentucky broke out the bourbon yesterday. It didn't matter whether their team was winning or losing.
I will. Maya just sent in her application for the University of Kentucky Honors College. Looks like she will soon be in the land of bourbon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
