You sound like Art Fleming, Mr. Original Jeapordy, telling contestants from time to time, that they shoud have made a better choice.
I'd like to get mine before month's end, but it'll be a close call. Right now it is in the "What Are You Waiting To Receive" thread.
I’m not sure how long they have offered it. I liked the scent and picked up a bottle. I’ve received several compliments on this one.
Recent Arrival :- A Canadian Schick Type E Injector. Has a non seamed bakelite handle, a non moveable spring with Schick Injector printed on plate around the Spring. Came in Blue case with Black blade dispenser, so could well be WW2 naval issue.
Actually I should say that what he would do is tell them, in effect, "OK, it's a free country, but I'd have gone with...."
Hahaha the wife! She's encouraging a hobby and even helping to set up a side business of sorts. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
I mentioned these last week in the waiting thread, but finally got them into my hands this morning. This is after an initial soak: The one with the dark handle appears to be a later E2 (unable to open, but still has a smooth bar). Only the head is etched. The other is an Eversharp Schick G1 which is etched on both the head and the handle. The G1 had a lot of green gunk under the head and I'm not sure if the green on the handle is more of the same in the etching or was used to color the etching originally. I'm back and forth on whether this was a factory job or a really dedicated and talented owner. The asymmetry makes me think owner, but the detail is even in the creases of the head which requires either a lot of patience/skill or it was done prior to bending. I really need a read in from the experts like @Billyfergie and @twhite.
I have never seen those before. Nice no matter what. If the plating is covering all of the engraving. I would guess factory. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Got a new handle for my tech. Its pretty heavy and awesome. Like it a lot. With the head and a blade, it now weighs 161g
