  1. Ah. Those are the same two I have, to which I have just added Cherry Blossom. He still makes them, except now they're called Barbershop and Bay Rum respectively. I just bought the splashes, and the "new" Barbershop matches my Turkish Bath soap perfectly, while the "new" Bay Rum is identical to the Private Study soap.

I never bought Velvet Jacket because I dislike tobacco, but as far as I can tell, it's his "new" Tobacco Bay Leaf soap.

I think he decided to give his scents labels that were less poetic and more descriptive of the contents to make it easier for his customers to remember what each was. The only one he didn't relabel was Mountain Rain, probably because the name already described the contents as well as anything could.

The new standard scent Key Lime sounds really good too.

And then, just to show my theory is nonsense, he released something called Abyss. Black rose and dark chocolate, mixed with vanilla, patchouli, oud, saffron, truffle and moss. . With a poetic name. Of course, it is a limited. Edition rather than a part of his regular lineup...
  2. Thanks John, I didn't know that. Solid information. :happy088:
  3. I have Apothecary as well. I believe it was also called Spearmint & Eucalyptus, and is not currently in production.
  4. Nice shot Perry!
I love the Revere! I got one in a lot at an estate auction. My first instinct was to sell it. Then I shaved with it! Yeah...it's a keeper!
  5. Great looking razor Perry. :happy096:
  6. Thank you, Jason!

  11. Gents, thanks for the kind words! I hope your day was fantastic. We hit 60 deg F today and had plenty of sunshine, but I think that comes to an abrupt end next week.

  16. Adam, I'm glad the USB works for you. I'll also overload my face with USB and then remove the excess after few minutes. The hippie bar recipe sounds interesting. If your Bride still has the link, I'd like to see it. My dry hands give me fits in the winter, and I may try it.

  18. Awesome photo with the vintage vibe, Jim. It is hard to beat the New LC and La Toja - two of my favorites! :happy088:
  19. Well, I never post the same photo twice in one day. I post my 30DC photos on the SOTD thread the night before. ;)
