  1. Love the PRC Hydra, Jared. Cool photo. Have a great week, and say hello to the folks at the Hampton Inn.
  2. Most definitely decadent, Neal. I'm glad you "sold" me on Voskhods! :)
  3. Another beautiful PRC in the house! dude.gif
  4. A true beauty that only a 30DC wet shaver can fully appreciate.

Razor: G3 Gillette Aristocrat Adjustable (5)
    Blade: Treet Platinum (2)
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

For various reasons, I ended up not shaving all weekend, so I hit the ground running today on 3 days growth. The Aristocrat and Treet Platinum were back for another round of decadence though I went with the more plebeian (but no less luxurious) KMF cream.

Two passes to an effective BBS with zero issues. That's enough decadence for today.
  6. Wowzers, that's a cool straight razor, Keith. I believe @PickledNorthern has one just like it...um...no...I guess not.

  9. Very nice photo and gear! I like the Atomic Rockets. I'm guessing you re-knotted the handle?
  10. Awesome effect with the photo!
  11. Going with canned cream/foam until Saturday, by which time my WCS order SHOULD arrive. It's a good opportunity to put a couple rarely used (and underrated)aftershaves to work.

Day 3 with the Cooper. There has been some Catie’s talk on the thread, and I realized I hadn’t actually tried any of the samples of it that I have. Today was Un Jour Gris. I smushed some in the bottom of a bowl and whipped up a ton of very nice looking lather that held a lot of water. It didn’t, however, seem to have a lot of slickness on the passes. My first thoughts are that it looks the part, and has a nice cologny scent, but is just ok for performance. I’ve got a few samples of it, so will come back to it for a better assessment.
3 passes to BBS. No touch ups at all. The Cooper is a star. Finished with the Jeeves. This is the 2nd time I’ve used it, and both times I find a scent in the initial splash that I don’t care for, but is gone after the dry down. I like it.
I’ll switch out the Astra for a different blade tomorrow.
    Have a great day all!
