  1. I know! I left for 90 minutes and the thread has been exploding! :scared001:

    Good thing I'm retired now.
  2. Do we need large type as well?
  3. :happy102: Not yet, thank goodness! Maybe more Jim Beam, though...
  4. Me too, Dan! Makes you wonder how much time these all working stiffs spend posting on TSD at work. :happy102:

It was great seeing you today. Hopefully we can get together again soon.

  5. Yes please!
  6. As long as it doesn't add pages! ;)
  7. Thanks, Charlie. I completely agree. She's planning more.

Thanks, Doug. She has seen some of the photos on TSD and was inspired. :)

I agree, she's a keeper. She's been really good about this hobby of mine. In fact, sort of "enabling." She is already planning additional photo backgrounds this month, so more to come. I'll give her credit when she's the "producer."

    Thanks, Jim!

It's fun when the spouse gets involved. I was really delighted when she suddenly got excited and said she was going to create the background for the photo. I've been trying to get her to try a DE razor, but she hasn't agreed yet. I've shown her some of the photos everyone on here takes and she loves them. I showed her some of the brush handles people have made out of wood and she says, "I could rosemale (i.e. paint) those for them." For Christmas I'm giving her a Gillette lady blue star which I got from Andrew @Linuxguile so I'm waiting with bated breath to find out if she'll finally agree to try this wet shaving thing of ours. :signs136:
  8. Very cool. I got my wife into this DE shaving thing. Here’s her rig.[IMG]
  9. I’m attempting to get my wife into it but she won’t bite lol
  10. That's the razor she'll see when she opens her gift on Christmas Day. :p

  11. I've wondered that myself! :happy097:
  12. I have a couple of tomahawks and a sword next to my bed, but I don’t have a morning star. Would you trade it for a straight or two?

    Awesome picture.
  13. Yes, I don’t know why I was so surprised at how well they work, but I was. I can see this making the dopp bag for the next trip.
  14. @mrchick, congrats on selling your house so fast! Have fun with the move. My family decided to do an addition on our house rather than moving to a bigger one. Permits approved last night, and the survey and stake work done today. Part of the addition is a master suite, with a double sink set up in the bath. I will have my own sink to shave at in about six months!

  15. Nice bowl amigo!
  16. I bought my wife this razor and a Schick Golden 500 injector. She prefers this one. I hope your wife likes hers.
  17. Congratulations! That will be very nice. Post some progress pictures when construction begins.

Thanks for congrats. I’m very excited.
  18. I had to ask my wife. She owns the weaponry because she used to be involved with SCA (I don't remember what that stands for) and attending Renaissance Fairs and get-togethers. I never got into it. I love history, but I'm not interested in re-living it. She outgrew it, but she still has some of her costumes, swords, and axes and so on. :duel:

I read your post to her and she smiled and said, "No." Then she said she has a toothpick sword on her side of the bed. I replied, "What?" We then went up to our bedroom and from underneath the bed she pulled this huge "knife" out:

I didn't know it was there. Of course, I never clean under the bed so I wouldn't anyway. I asked why she had it there and she said if someone breaks in and I'm incapacitated she can defend herself. :susel:

If it belonged to me I'd say yes. But it doesn't... so I can't. Now, I'm very, very afraid of my wife.... :shocked003: ;) :happy097:

Hey.... maybe I can use that toothpick sword as a straight razor? What d'ya think?
  19. Is that the Bacon bowl by chance? Even if it isn’t, it’s a nice one!
  20. MAYhem isn’t too far off....you already have your shave figured out for it!
Be a VERY, VERY good boy if she has that kind of weapon. Investigation Discovery has shows about that sorta thing all the time. “Snapped”, I believe it’s called. Mostly women killing husbands and boyfriends.
