  1. Just crazy. When I retire, I am moving someplace warmer. :happy097:
  2. This Thäter 2 band is my favorite knot, very soft, no sricth and good flow through.
  3. Wonderful picture, Mark!
  4. Beautiful picture, Charlie! It makes me want to pull out a Voskhod blade!

  6. Wow. I hope you don't have to go anywhere today. Our snow was gone by about 10:00 yesterday morning.

  7. Thanks Jim. I'm going for seven shaves on this one. This is the blade that I'm unsure will make it, but we'll see. Enjoy your weekend!

    Rubberset 400
    Stirling Port-au-Prince
    PAA Bakelite Alpha Ecliptic
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Fine Fresh Vetiver AS

Two passes and BBS this morning. It was a terrific shave. This version of Port-au-Prince is a few years old, so it is a beef tallow soap rather than the Sheep tallow the current version is. It is still slick, and the scent is great. This is also a soap scent that sticks around for a while. I think it pairs nicely with Fine Fresh Vetiver, and at least my kids agree. All in all a great start to my day. I hope everyone has a great day!
  9. I don't remember exactly how many I got but, it was at least 14 a few months ago.

I'm sipping on Tim Hortons coffee right now. I don't have a snow plow, so I order mine on Amazon. :eatdrink013:
  11. Funny thing is the temps are above freezing but it has been snowing faster than it can melt. The roads are mostly clear. My wife wants to go Christmas shopping so we will be getting out in the hour or two.

  12. Be safe. A few of the overpasses here iced up and caused a few problems.

  13. Very nice Mark! That brush is wonderful!

Fantastic effect with the photo Charlie!

Look at all the pretty snow! I'm kinda jealous...
  14. Love that setup and photo!! What do you think of the razor? They intrigue me. It appears that finding the angle would be intuitive.
  15. Will do. :happy088:

It looks nice but I will be glad when its gone.

    OneBlade Genesis
    Modified Gem PTFE (3)
Ever Ready 100T with TGN Finest
    MdC
    Myrsol Agua Balsamica

The last day with the MdC and Ever Ready before moving on was another great shave. Everything just works so well together. Three passes and touch ups ended in a near perfect shave. A splash of Myrsol and I am ready to get out as soon as the bride is ready. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.
  17. Blackland Blackbird
    Astra (2) - Feather (2)
    JR 223 brush
    Stirling Barbershop

Started with the Astra but it tugged. Lucky to finish the pass. Switched to Feather and all seemed right in the shaving world. Ill try some other blades but this razor likes the super sharp.

    Enjoy your day, men.[IMG]

  19. Great looking razor.
  20. Great filter photo Jim and one cool looking razor. I really like Fine Fresh Vetiver. It seems to pair well with so many soaps.
