  1. Can't you just take the freezer box off the trike you have now?

  2. SOTD 12.9.2017

    Pre-shave: hot shower
    Brush: RazoRock synthetic
Soap: Stirling Autumn Glory (courtesy @SmokeShowing)
Razor: Ming Shi set at #4
    Blade: Wilkinson Sword (2)
Post-shave: Assured WH, Aqua Velva Sensitive Skin 5 in 1 PS balm, Adidas Dynamic Pulse

To be honest, I have not shaved yet today. However, I intend to shave after the Army-Navy game and while they're on Halftime I thought I get this out and not wait until later. The wife, our two labs and I went out to my mom's house this morning to get her Christmas tree up and decorated and get some other minor chores done. I enjoyed this combination of soap, balm with its light scent, and the Adidas AS a few days ago and wanted to repeat it now.

I've always enjoyed the photos from many TSD members who use an outdoor setting, and so inspired I took my shaving gear with us. Mom lives in the forest west of the city so the possibilities are endless. I picked a long ago cut down tree trunk, and set everything up and got down low and took several pictures, being mindful not to lie down on turkey crap. As I took pictures, a curious and furry creature came up from behind me and I captured this image:

This is Blanca, one of our labs. After sniffing the brush she stood between me and the shaving gear for a minute or two preventing me from taking pictures, but giving me some love. I think that was her way of telling me she approved of the set-up. :happy088:

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!
Update: Finally got an early evening shave done... The razor set at #4 definitely responded with a lot of audible noise as it was cutting the whiskers. Very comfortable, 3 passes, and the baby came home this time. Had some burn when I applied the AS but passed quickly.
  3. That's a cool photo and Lab Report, Dan. Looks like the snow is mostly gone. Maybe Blanca could be the 30DC mascot.

  7. Blanca's pretty innocent. I would be afraid the fame would go to her head. Besides, she just likes to run, play, run some more and chase rabbits.

The snow is nearly gone. 60F here today, sunny skies.... same weather predicted for tomorrow.

    Thanks, Jared!

    Thanks, Steve!
  8. Very cool photo. Blanca seems to be enjoying herself.
  9. Razor: Blackland Bluebird (Blackbird) Delta Echo Finish
    Blade: Pol Silver (2)
    Brush: Oscar 11, w/Omega 10049 Boar
    Soap: Oleo Montrose Beach
    A/S: Myrsol Blue
    Bowl: Boise Mudworks Blue

Another great close comfortable no issue shave. Atlanta got more snow than we did today. Go figure.

  10. A great backdrop for that lineup, Doug. That is such a cool river near you.
  11. I love this photo, Doug! Then again, you always have great photos!

What river is that? Looks like a fast flowing one.
  12. She did, and so did the other lab, Shayla. As soon as we got home they found their spots and crashed... haven't gotten up since. :)
  13. :thanks: Your not going to believe this but it is called The Mississippi River. It's not the mighty Mississippi, but the Mississippi.
  14. Thanks very much my friend.
  15. Dilly Dilly!!
  16. Great setting for a photo Amigo.
