  6. And to you..:happy088: I actually have a Selmer Combo. It's a laminated but the old girl has a surprisingly good sound..must be all that aging. I named her old granny after granny Clampet..granny always did like her music..She sings out loud and clear with a new set of strings and a good coat of Dunlop 65..:git:

Okay, must be a generational thing or maybe just depends on where you grew up, but gig rig meant a nail in the end of a broom stick or a genuwine two prong gig, a fast little stream and lots of frogs or day at the shore and flounder fer dinner. There was one kid that had a fancy five prong gig but he was from the city and didn't know no better.

  17. When I have the opportunity to play with the worship band (every two-threee months or so...), I'll snag one of these four custom lefty acoustics.

    Each has a built-in K&K Pure Western (soundboard transducer) pickup—except for the slope dread which the Trinity system (mic, SB transducer, pre-amp), which are then fed into a Dtar Mama Bear Digital Acoustic Guitar Preamp.

    The sound in the house is through several Meyer arrays & sub, which all sounds rather incredible.

  20. I use a K&K in my Gibson acoustic. It's a great pickup. I'll have to try and post some gear tomorrow.
