Thank you Clint. I have a lot of brushes and this is my favorite handle by far. The shape fits my hand perfectly and looks great.
Good morning fellas! Today’s shave was brought to me by the following: Razor: Gillette Super Speed Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum Brush: JR216 Blade: Astra S/P Day two using the Jeeves Bay Rum that Adam @Drygulch sent (Thanks again Adam)! The lather was absolutely fantastic & slick. Maybe even better than yesterday. Three nice, fairly quick passes w/ some slight touch up and I was good to go! I could’ve hit the neck area between many chin and Adam’s apple a little bit more to get it super smooth...but, good enough. Normally, if I’m going to get weepers, that’s where they’ll be. For the last handful of days I haven’t been obsessing & over-trying to get nice, smooth shaves - yet I find that I am still getting great results. Actually, I think I’m getting BETTER results. Maybe it’s a case of “less is more”. Whatever it is, I’m happy with it, and hope it continues! Have a great Wednesday everyone! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Great photo and write-up, Bruce! I agree that "less is more" could be applied to many elements of our lives with good success, including shaving. That's a terrific philosophy.
Wednesday Prep: Hot shower Coffee: Wegmans Traditional Medium, black Tunes: Pandora Shuffle Soap: TSD Desert Rose Brush: EverReady 250PB (pure badger) with original knot Razor: Parker 80R, a long handle TTO HD Blade: Astra SP, day 3, 3 passes Post: Cold water rinse, Thayer's Rose Petal WH with Aloe, hand strop blade and drop into next razor Stink-Pretty: Jovan Musk Moustache Maintenance: Dirigo Blue 'Stache Stuff, Dirigo Blue 'Stache Wax Just another fantastic shave.
Thanks Clint! I'm pretty sure it's the last style they put out, and based on its condition, I'd say it was the very end of the run. For $5, I couldn't go wrong!
