  1. Both razors are stunning but the Silverloaf wins with its coolness factor.

Great lineup. The Damaskeene is a great SE razor.

    Wonderful lineup and photo Brian.

Great idea for a comparison. Interested in your final results.
  2. Thank you Kerry. I had a Ikon Tech and found it just a touch too much razor for me. It was one aggressive beast for sure.

After church today, we're meeting my Bride's best friend for lunch. They've been best friends since the first grade, and I'm so glad they've stayed in touch all these years. It will be fun catching up.

I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday!

  4. Howdy! My name is Fuzzy and I am a shave addict. Great to meet ya!
That right there is a beautiful shave! I did a TSD shave this morning myself. More about that soon.

This right here is how these rumors start. I have never...well almost never...well seldom...oh never mind...

It does indeed. Mr. Fancy Pants.

A fight determines who is left....not who is right!!

If I missed something it's all y'all chatty hens fault!!
  5. Rain here this morning. Glad Sgt. Fuzzy is working inside for this day shift.

Even before reading here I decided today was a TSD shave day. The brush is my 30DC Tuxedo....still a favorite. The Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet is from da Gator..the Grey Flannel is from MB41 if I remember right...and the beautiful handle on the 1910 Gem Jr. Bar was made by Jayaruh. I am as smooth as a crosseyed catfish this morning. It was a really special shave. For the record nothing is more decadent then a 100 year old + lather catcher.

  16. Tell me about it! I don't know what got into this crew, but all of a sudden the thread just took off like a shot again! It certainly makes it hard to keep up and/or catch up, but it's great to see this group so active - and having fun!

I like your justification. It's even better when one can enable themselves!! ;)
  17. Thank you. These old lather catchers rock!

Probably not the best idea to use a term like "enable themselves" in here. Just saying.
  18. Wonderful lineup and photo Charlie. I hope you guys have a great time catching up.

    Welcome back Fuzzy.

Great photo Mark. Love the brush. ;)
  19. Purchase decisions like this usually happen to me in combination with adult beverages and football. :D Kidding aside, congrats on getting 2 fantastic brushes.
  20. Good point, very good point.
