This was a very emotional weekend for me. My youngest daughter (24) made the 440 mile trek to visit this weekend. She came to celebrate Christmas with us, pick up some sentimental items from our house, and say goodbye to the home she was born in. It was a very tearful goodbye this afternoon as she left. Moving isn't all puppies and rainbows. I'm tired out...
I was thinking the same thing earlier. In one page we had self enabling and the big winker. I had to log out for a while.
Wow, too busy to catch up on the thread, maybe this afternoon. Monday shave: I just refreshed the edge on this razor and I did not do a very good job. I imagine it is hard. I suppose though, a guy can be grateful that he raised a family in a happy home full of memories, and that it is hard to leave it. We promise to hack on you just as hard at the new place.
- Strawberry Shortcake Razor - Jayaruh w/TGN Grade A Silvertip - Stirling Lime Soap w/M-Bomb - Stirling Limes and Black Peppercorns A.S. A very pleasant Sunday Night shave. First shave off a refresh, and it was nice and smooth. I spent quite a little time focusing on cleanup, and if it weren’t for just a tiny little patch on my lower neck, I would be bouncing the baby. Second use of the TGN Silvertip, and I am quite happy. It is very soft, (the treated tips are gelling already) and it is dense enough to have a full feel. It could be set a little deeper than I have it, but it really feels pretty nice as it is. I hope you all have a nice week going into Christmas.
I had a Lime sample A.S. Wrong time of year for me, as the humidity was beginning to quit. It was OK otherwise.
Brian, I am sure this is a bitter sweet time for you. I hope the day was fun and filled with memories for you.
Good times and good memories, Brian. You have a beautiful family. We know you're moving, but can you sweep your porch?
Thank you. I am very grateful to have had a wonderful house to raise three kids in. It was hard walking through the house with my daughter and remembering “here was where she took her first step”, etc. I’m a sentimental guy and she inherited that trait, so it was kind of emotional. I am still looking forward to the next chapter though.
