  1. Sounds like a rough day ahead. Praying for you. Best wishes.
  2. I am really sorry to hear the job news, Adam. News like that always sucks, but the timing really sucks on this one too. Said a quick prayer for you.

  3. Keith, I know you like aggressive DE's, does the DOC Evolution fall into this category ?
Awesome photo Dan, your bride is doing a great job on the setups!
    Interesting read Neal!
Awesome setup, Rick! I still haven't managed to add a Stahly to my collection.
Amazing photo and write up, John!
Beautiful photo, Clint! that brush is a real looker!
Fantastic photo, Mark! Really love the contrasting head and handle on the razor!
    Beautiful photo, Charlie!
Great photo Brian! Whats your thought on the amount of backbone the Stirling Tuxedo has ?
    Awesome Junior Bar, Jim!
Great photo Adam. March is a long way away, hopefully something will change with the work situation.
  4. Thank you, Andrew!
  5. Awesome photo, Jason!
  6. Thanks Adam. I like it quite a bit. It lathers well and is comfortable without being too stiff.
  7. Terrific photo of some fantastic gear, Jason!
  8. Wow, so sorry for your news, Adam. Good things happen to good people, so I know you’ll be on to great things next.
  9. +1, Adam

I'm hoping my Omega Pro knot breaks in on my handle and looks as good as that one, Jason. How do you find the TGN boar to compare with Omega or Semogue?
  10. Great photo and gear Adam!

Very sorry to hear about the job though. You and your employees will be in my thoughts. Hopefully things will work out - and quickly! Stay strong my friend...
  11. The aftershave I was made by The Holy Black, and is called Whisker Whiskey. Instead of denatured alcohol like most people used, he started with an American whiskey and added scent and skin food stuff. It is a very moisturizing and effective aftershave, and the scent lasts a long time. You can however smell actual whiskey. They have since discontinued Whisker Whiskey, and now sell an aftershave tonic. I'm not sure if there were issues with selling and shipping across state lines something called whiskey, but that would be my guess. Thank you for the concern on the job. It will work out, but the next few months are going to be stressful.
  12. The PC I use during the day won't let me post photos, so often I will write up a post, then edit it on my phone to add the picture. I try and do it quick so people don't notice the picture not being there.
  13. Quick side note. The proletariat have awoken to rise up against the Czar and his bourgeoisie cookie makers (or cookie non-makers as it may be). Despite Pravda rolling out more mythical cookie stories than you can shake a shashlyk skewer at, coal is winning this month's poll almost 2 to 1 over cookies. Free wodka for everyone!

  14. Gotcha! Thought it was on my end. I had to reboot the router a couple of times this morning. Apparently, it's not a "morning person." :p
  15. Thank you Clint and everyone who multiquoted. Based on the expectation of New Members to wet shaving and TSD as holiday gifts are opened I'm going to up my recruiting for folks to join us here in The 30 Day Crew. Neal may have to open a new wing or rent extra space. We are bursting at the seams!

I got lucky with my Stahly. It was part of an auction lot. The case/display stand is in very fine condition & the handle works. On a full wind up it gives 30 second or so of effective vibration and another 15 or 20 seconds of not so exciting action. Can't say that the 3000 VPM helps with the shave, but it's a novel experience getting a face massage while reducing beard. Back when Fat boys were $1.95 & Toggles $10. Stahly's sold for $20-25.

  19. I'll be praying for you and your employees. I know things like this can be stressful.
  20. Recruit away! Igor has located some prime warehouse space available here at Cartel HQ West. Plenty of room for everyone!

AND.....he also located a possible new HQ building as well....close to the new warehouse. A slight fixer-upper but we have enough vodka and hammers to get the job done.
