I haven't attempted Modern, but I have a shave stick of Vintage. Very little scent remains, but it lathers like a champ.
Does the package have a bar code?

 

I was thinking new. If it's vintage I am going to shoot myself for passing it up. If you want to try it send me a addy I have tons.

They are such works of art. Every time I see one I want one even more. I love my SEs, and need to add a Lather Catcher to my collection one day.

 

The injectors are another breed that have been calling my name lately too.
