  13. Aye... I completely understand, but I decided to put all of my DE razors away when I started with this last month.

Currently, I only have a Clog Pruf, OCMM, and Bullet Tip out and have only used the CP recently.
  14. Great description of an outstanding shave, Andrew! Well-done!
  15. December 20, 2017

    Razor: Stick Schick Injector
    Blade: Chick
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Cream: KMF fragrance-free
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

Another Injector shave, this one with the Stick Schick. It's not really a decadent razor, except for its unusualness. The L-type head is pretty mild and the handle, while novel, seems somewhat plasticky. Two passes to a high DFS with no issues.

  17. John, have you run a Proline in an L type ?
  18. I'm pretty sure I have with good results. I'll probably go with one the next time I replace the blade.

  19. Good morning crew!

Today’s shave was brought to me by the following:
    Razor: Gillette Fat Boy
    Brush: Stirling Plisson
    Soap: Reef Point Espresso
    Bowl: WCS
    Blade: Astra SP

Whew...my concentration abilities were much better than yesterday.

The Reef Point Espresso soap was one of the many samples that Jared @PickledNorthern sent recently. It’s only my first try at a Reef Point soap, but it does seem to be very good. Had I given it a little more water while lathering, I think I could’ve coaxed a little more out of the performance. Even still, it was slick enough and the cushioning was decent enough. As far as the scent goes, it’s not totally my thing. I LOVE the smell of coffee. I find that anything coffee scented, such as a candle, usually falls short. Same thing here. I don’t dislike the scent. It falls in the “Ok” spectrum for me. Don’t get me wrong, cuz I ain’t dissin’ the soap performance, it’s still good stuff!

The shave itself was nice. Much better than yesterday - and, no blood. Three passes and I’m good to go.
