SOTD 12.20.2017 Pre-shave: hot shower Shave Gel: Nivea Men Sensitive Skin Shaving Gel (applied by hand) Razor: Gillette Fat Boy E-4 (set at #2) Blade: Wilkinson-Sword (3) Post-shave: Assured WH, Nivea Sensitive Skin PS Balm, Skin Bracer Just had time for a quick shower and shave this morning using my Nivea gel. It's one of my go-to shave lather products when I need a quick shave. I had a very pleasant, 2 pass shave with some touch-ups on the neck. I can't say I got a baby smooth shave but it was a darn fine one. The Fat Boy, at setting #2 still felt mild for me. Next I'll try #3. Hope all of you are having a great week as the Holidays approach! * Set-up courtesy of my dear bride. In addition to her Santa Claus collection, she loves moose.
Stay warm, Jason. The advantage to winter storms is you have a perfect excuse to stay inside and have a nice, long shave ritual.
Razor: Gillette Fatboy G 3 1961 Blade: Gillette Platinum Brush: Fendrihen Horn Faux Ebony Silvertip Soap: Route 66 Lumberjack A/S: Route 66 Lumberjack Balm Bowl: Timeless Another excellent 3 passes with a touchup under my chin. The Fendrihen brush whipped up the Lumberjack into an amazing lather. A near BBS shave was the result.
A bunch of absolutely excellent photos today, gentlemen! Crisp pictures, great gear, and some wonderful holiday themes. They were very cheery to view today, thank you all very much!
That's awesome. At least she is having fun. I really like her photo presentation! My wife will be opening up a gift for Christmas which will have that same Lady Gillette. I'm hoping she'll try it, at least. She's been supportive of my addiction... I mean, hobby, and she's having fun with these photo set-ups so I think she'll at least agree to try it. Keeping my fingers crossed.
