3/8 Super Wedge Stirling Agar Shavemac 25mm silver tip I really like this knot, not wild about the handle but I know who to blame for that. It's been awhile since I shaved with a razor this narrow or sharpened one for that matter. Finished the blade on a black Arkansas. While a good finished edge with the black remains a little hit or miss I hit it on this blade. Excellent shave this evening and enjoyed the Agar, great scent IMO. Have a good one.
I broke out a "newish" straight of mine. I still like the older ones more. This one is loud, but sharp. I had a 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. I was bit by this razor 3 times. Very small, and only one I felt, on the upper lip. Maybe that's why I'm not thrilled with this one. Razor- Dovo. Best Quality, Solingen Germany. Today I had a spectacular shave. I used a C-MON special 5/8 full hollow spike. Three passes left me silky smooth, and very comfy (weeper on neck, but i didn't feel it). I've have three C-MON razors (Blackie, Special, Cadillac). They are a pleasure to use. Mr Monkhouse sure knew his stuff.
Ty, it's a homemade restore with a knot @PLANofMAN gave me. It's a silvertip badger from a Ralph Lauren set. Came out nicely, was an easy restore. But thanks for noticing.
Every C-MON razor I’ve owned and used has been a top performer. I still have one remaining on the bench awaiting minor repair and I’ve sold off the other half-dozen. Excellent vintage razors with quite the following.
First shave with the Le Grelot “Royal Canada “ 5/8. Been a couple days since my last shave. First pass tugged a little, which made me wonder if I missed something on the hones(?). The second and third pass were smooth and effortless. Perhaps my lather was a bit off. Either way, ended up bbs, complete with the fools pass.
I couldn’t sleep last night, so I got out of bed earlier than usual this morning. As I had a few extra minutes, I decided to take out my Genco “fluid steel”. It tugged a little and was probably telling me it needs to go back to the hones soon. Anyway, I ended up with a pleasant enough two pass DFS all around and did it in a little over 10 minutes. That’s got to be my fastest SR shave ever and I was not intentionally trying to rush it.

Tonight's shave was with a German razor. I had a silky smooth 2 pass shave, with near BBS results. Zero issues. This one takes a wickedly sharp edge. Razor- J.A.Henckels 451 5/8th Friodur.
