SCHÖNE/PSI :: SIMFIX :: RAZOROCK Great solstice shave back in Oaxaca. Skipped a day shaving and the Schöne was near BBS after two passes. A little touch up and I was ready to go. The OC takes a light touch but rewards with excellent results. Bargain of the year for me.
Schick Grip razor Personna blade Shave Revolution Evolution Synthetic brush TSD Iced Lemon Grass SS Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe TSD 2X Mentholated Lemon Grass A/S Nice shave. Love the TSD SS, works well, smells great and have a nice chill to it. My face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks
Your Schone looks very much like my Fatip Grande. (although mine shows signs of heavy use and the gunmetal finish left the dock long ago) Same manufacturer?
I believe it is the same manufacturer with a slight variation in the comb alignment. Yours looks well loved...
Pre: Warm water face wash Brush: Semogue 1470 Boar Cream: Simpsons Peppermint & Rosemary Razor: Gillette Sheraton 1939 Blade: Gillette Blue NOS 1944 (03) Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Vitamin E Oil, Alcolado Glacial This razor came with a couple of blades, so I unwrapped one. It looked good and was still covered in a film of oil. A quick check with a magnifying glass, a rinse under the hot tap and away I went. For a 73 year old blade in a 78 year old razor, the shave was pretty good, it struggled with the grey hairs a bit, but no more than some modern blades. A two and a half pass DFS was the result, and the Schick I1 on standby could stand down. After a restless nights sleep, broken by a rasping cough, decongesting fumes were the order of the day. The Simpsons cream and the Alcolado played their roles well.
Gem 1912 Razor Treet Super SE Blade Re-Done @Jayaruh 156 Badger Brush WSP Fougere Noir Soap Dickinson's Witch Hazel Aqua Velva Musk After Shave First time using this blade in the 1912, and it was a real "treet". I know, but I just had to say it. It just feels a little smoother than a Personna Gem SE blade. The brush whipped up plenty of rich lather from the WSP soap. And helped provide a nice BBS shave in two passes with a bit of touch up.
Thank you Enrico! There are a score or more of them around. Jason @jtspartan produced a Limited Edition set for members of The 30 Day Crew (hence 30 DC LE) You are welcome to join us in The 30 Rule/Focus Group, but there's no more brushes available. Jason needs the wood to keep from freezing up in Canada.

Friday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Mitchell's Wool Fat GarnerPW IX Schick M Schick Twin CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Speick I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face-lathered well with the GarnerPW IX synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Schick M injector razor with a Schick Twin blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Speick AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The Stache Soapworks soap and Aftershave work brilliantly together, almost giving off an Acqua Di Gio scent. Performance is damn good too. The OneBlade has been relegated to short on time shaves, which haven’t been many. Today was one of those quick runs. A superb razor for a sub - 5 minute shave. Great performer. Have a great evening and shaves Gents...

Yo @Yehuda D ....check it out! You turned me onto the Ming Shi tto razor a few years back when I first rediscovered Trad Wet Shaving....Well the good folks at Ming Shi are at it again! Andrew at https://www.etsy.com/shop/AndrewShaveShop?ref=l2-shopheader-name Is where I just copped mine for right at a "sawbuck"...unbelievable....took all of like 2 days to get it. When I first saw folks talking about it I knew I had to try it... It's a copy of the Merkur Futur adjustable....I've never shaved with a Futur so I can't compare those two...But I can say unequivicably, that my first two shaves with it were exceptional....I don't shave with DEs anymore...but this razor is a game changer...I'm loving it so far... Anyway....You said, you hadn't noticed that Ming Shi was back with a vengence....So I had to pull your coat to this... I'm going to do a shave review now.....
