So I was at a local auction and there was a nike box full of razors and a gillette point of sale display box... they were coming home with me.
my TSD raffle prize came in the mail today, i have never used an adjustable injector type razor so i am excited to try it out
So this happened... I was at my local B&M enjoying a B'day cigar when a "vintage Gillette shaving kit" popped up on my radar! I couldn't hit the BIN button fast enough! It has one bent tooth (I can live with that.) and the French Aristo case has what I think is a cigarette burn (upper left corner) but I'm still tickled!
Photos, man! How can we live vicariously through your good fortune without an inventory list and photos? High top Nike? I like to make an impression when I first visit a new-to-me antique or thrift store. Sometimes I ask, "Where do you keep the sharp things? Got a five gallon buck of crusty old razors tucked away in the back?"
This came in on Friday! Fairly good shape! Small marks on a tooth or two. I think at some point somebody tried to straighten them. Minor plate loss. But overall happy for the price I paid.
Apparently my local post office decided to make one last run before Christmas today. In addition to a box of Christmas Cookies, an unused L-1 (1966) travel Tech and an F-4(1960) Toggle were delivered. Every adjustment works well, last pictures are after some clean up.
Better pictures for you guys. Still have to clean everything up and make a list of what's all there. There were all in the shoe box I just randomly put them in the display box for the picture. Yes that's a toggle F4
