CHRISTMAS EVE SHAVE Bath Soap - Ralph Lauren Safari Razor - Ralph Lauren Safari Collection Blade - Personna Twin II Plus (with lubrication strip) *1st Shave Shave Brush - Ralph Lauren Safari Collection with Original Badger Hair Knot Hair Brush - Ralph Lauren Safari Collection Shave Soap - Ralph Lauren Safari Aftershave - Ralph Lauren Safari Post Shave Balm - Ralph Lauren Safari Deodorant - Ralph Lauren Safari Fragrance - Ralph Lauren Safari *All products are Vintage 1990's produced by Cosmair PlanofMan gave me info on products that helped me source these on Ebay. I'm debuting my newest addition to my Silver Shave Kit. Edit - And Merry Christmas Everyone! I have to say that the Safari Razor with the Personna Twin II Plus Cartridge shaved decently. It may not be as good as the best of my DE razors, but it performed well and didn't leave any nicks or cuts. I had a 2-pass + cleanup and I'm happy with the results. The scent of the vintage stuff is great. The best part of the gear is the shave soap. I soaked the soap for 2 hours to soften the top layers. The lather was fantastic. It was the consistency of canned shave cream with a bit more slickness. Good protection. My only slightly negative knock on this set is the badger hair didn't have much of any backbone, unlike my synthetics, and on top of that I could smell wet badger scent mixing with my Safari scented soap. It wasn't 'that' bad, but it's the big reason I go with synthetic knots, because I want my scents to be 'the' experience scent-wise and I don't want a wet-animal smell intruding on my scent. Again, it wasn't 'bad', just something I had to learn to expect when using the badger brush. The bath soap did have a very 'slight' 'aged' smell to the ingredients the soap is made of. No doubt I will have to use the soap a few times to get down to a layer that smells more 'fresh'. But after drying off, I could not detect any of that 'aged' vibe. I could only smell the classic Safari scent. The aftershave, the post-shave balm and the deodorant still work and smell like they're brand new. All in all, it was great. I smell great. My face is smooth.
