  4. The shave that I wanted happened finally!

Was it ever a bone-chiller thanks the Glacial Lemon Chill soap, the matching balm, and the delightful Lemon Chill witch hazel. I couldn't have enjoyed it more and I couldn't have gotten smoother!

    Have a good one!

I was in the mood for a vintage Gillette adjustable, the black beauty! And, I reached for my only CARBON DE blade - the TREET! this black beauty blade really tames the Gillette on its Highest setting, folks say these blades "drag", for me it is just a slow, smooooth, glide that mows down whiskers leaving my skin feeling like silk - I cant quickly swipe like one would with a Feather - No, I slow it down - and I also have NO fear of weapers - Lets all praise the TREET black beauty!!!!!!!!

    Peace - Jamie.................

Same set-up as yesterday (different brush as I rotate the little Omega boars). The Med Prep is one fine blade. Fourth shave in the books and it is yielding effortless 2 pass / minor touch-up BBS shaves. Second use of the Amici soap. Great lather, cushion & glide. Not sure what the scent is but it is pleasing and somewhat subdued.

    Soap: Italian Barber Amici
    Brush: Omega 10086
    Razor: RazoRock German 37 slant
    Blade: Personna Med Prep (4)
    Aftershave: Pinaud Clubman Vanilla

  7. update, now the GENTS is sold out, but Jim at Corrado Cutlery(the store has a section for Clubman items)said he'll e-mail me when it is set to ship(I had e-mailed him to tell him I'd be happy to wait, and thanks for the info.) He said it should be back in stock in a week or so.

  9. First shave with my newly-found Cooper Mono-bilt and my first shave with a GSB blade. Also used the Jayaruh 242 and Maggard Limes & Bergamot. It took a moment to figure out how to exactly place the blade, but once my brain figured it out it was smooth sailing.

Two days growth disappeared in a simple 3-pass BBS. My face feels wonderful, closest in a long time. Guess there's a reason so many like the GSB's.

    Happy Hump Day!
