Now that the RAD and BAD has abated soaps are my real weakness. Luckily ASAD hasn't really kicked in.
Thanks! My RAD came back in force this summer and a fair amount of it has centered on Injectors and Techs. I've wanted a Bakelite one since I first saw a picture of one, but they usually price out at more than what I've wanted to pay. I think I lucked out on this one as it was listed as a Star razor (because it was in a Star box).
I have been following along very superficially, and not really posting very much. I’d like to say it is because I’ve been doing so much interesting stuff that I just haven’t had time. The truth is, I got really ill with a stomach flu in the wee hours of Boxing Day and have been laid out for almost two days since. I’ll spare you all the gruesome details, but I’d guess this is as poor as I’ve felt in a decade at least. We have family visiting from out of town as well, and I haven’t been able to be a very good host. I haven’t shaved since Christmas Eve, but do hope to get in a DEcadent shave tomorrow morning. Four days between shaves will be my longest break in well over a year.
Sitting at the DMV now. My first cousin's wife used to be the Manager here. She's working a different office now, so I'm just one of those people waiting to be served. Already canceled and ordered new debit card, Discover (that already arrived via FedEx!), but need SS card, fishing license, Kroger's card, Auto Zone, etc. Glad I remember only having a fiver in the lost wallet.
