It was a custom order and before they bought the laser engraver. They didn’t put their mark so as not to disturb the Damascus. I thought about sending it back to have the mark engraved but it is too long a trip.

Third shave with this one. The first shaves were good and the seller said it was professionally honed. I say it was BS to sell it, no biggie; the edge wasn’t bad but not all that good either. I took it back to the Norton 4/8k and finished on 1um lf. Super smooth and sharp left me near bbs on the second pass. Completed a third and sealed the deal.
Wacker Chevalier Esbjerg SC TGN 24mm 2 band fan Very nice shave this morning. I originally finished this blade out on a progression of synthetics. 1k to 12k and had a good shave. The 2nd shave I touched up the razor with a Charnley Forest and seemed to back up and had a pretty poor shave. I was surprised by that and won't form an opinion until I try it again. My CF has improved everything I've tried it on so far so I don't know if I had a bad honing session or if it's the stone. I'm leaning toward me having a bad day or a variable or two I tried during the honing process (Dawn and water instead of oil). Last night I used my true hard Arkansas and my black Arkansas and got a superb shave this morning. Interesting razor, seems small in the hand and I have excellent control with it. The first time I used it felt "different" in the hand but after a few shaves everything feels natural. Have a good one.
A unique and fun shave to end 2017... Razor: C V Heljestrand 14 - 7/8” full hollow round point. Brush: McPhail “Tophat” Skull shift knob w/ 28mm Nathan Clark Ubersoft Soap: B&M Cologne Russe A/S: Fine Lavender Pour Homme I find this to be a very special razor. A Heljestrand, but not the MK series. This looks like the distributor is E. Montagnac from Buenos Aires. The “14” drew my attention and the similarity in shape to the MK 133 sealed the deal for me. I’ve had it for quite some time and it provides a lovely shave. Reverse side stamp: Have a safe and happy New Year’s Eve and enjoy your shave! Thank you for allowing me to join in the fun. Tom.
Last Shave of the Year. I Figured I would go out with a bang, and bring out a "Heavy Hitter". I had a SWEEEEET SMOOOOTH 2 pass shave, with BDBS results. Zero issues. This razor is always perfect.
