I think that's what happened to me with the Spice A.S....course that was suffering at the opposite extreme.

I'd planned on using the Blackland Sabre handle, but it didn't feel right. Several handles later I felt Ever-Ready had it right all along but curiosity got the better of me and I went back to the Sabre handle and it worked surprisingly well. All the other ingredients contributed to a close, clean, one and a half pass shave. Good luck for the new year!

So I gave in and had my first try of a straight on New Years Eve. Wasn't going out so didn't matter if it went badly... Only did both cheeks and straight down the centre of my neck with the GOTTA, then another 2 passes with my Slim set on 5. I did think pass 2 felt very smooth after the first with the straight. 2017 Favorite Unconditional Surrender was my favorite scent find for me 2017. A very generous friend helped my acquire the excellent soap as well. I've never been disappointed with this combination. Tabac holds a special place in my heart, but US is certainly the best scent I came across last year. There were many great ones, but this one just captured my imagination. The Rockwell 6s was a razor revelation for me, eclipsing the Merkur Futur in every way.
