  1. Might as well get that blood thing out of the way early.

Cool looking shave. I think the Derby’s work just fine in the shavettes. I also use a new one for every shave.
  2. I'll be pulling for Bama in this one. I have no love for the Tiggers.

  3. Great setup amigo! Sorry you got bitten. The Cobra demands rapt attention and in a moments distraction can bite, badly! :shocked003:

  6. Pretty successful for a first shavette shave, Dan! Great job!
  7. Beautiful picture, Jared!
  8. A little blood every now and then just adds to the entertainment factor around here.

  11. Thanks, Chris. I'll have to practice that technique... but I'll unload the shavette first. ;)

Thanks, Perry. I'm sorry you're cycling through more viruses. Hope you get well soon!

Thanks, Jim! This was your first shave with this shavette, right? It looks cool!
  12. I switch hands. It take a little practice before the awkwardness wears off. But it's much easier to get all the right angles and see what your doing, for me at least. Since you're using a shavette, take the blade out and practice a bit. Get used to the feeling of it before risking any blood loss.
  13. Thanks for the advice, Chris. I really appreciate it! :)

  14. Congrats on #1. The first twenty or so, are almost like an extreme sport or something. The focus you need brings you to the same place you have to get your head before you cliff dive or something.

I use both hands now. I didn’t really at first. I would say to use your dominant hand for now, get comfortable, and try to identify spots on your face where you think it might be easier with a different angle offered by your other hand. You can try to work those spots in slowly.

  16. I suspect that won’t be the only blood from a shavette this month here, Jim! Stunning photo, however.

  17. Thank you. Matt Deruiter does a fantastic job turning handles. I have several of his now, and they are all favorites of mine.
  18. I’m gonna order one right now.

  20. Well done, Dan! I’m going to delay the pain stick for a week or two I think.
