Short & Sweet. Just a real good shave with the SS Gen & WK Project Leather. Superb performance from the soap, one of the best post shave feels I’ve felt. The scent though was disappointing. I picked up very little leather if any at all. But, the performance was so good it definitely will stay in my den. Have a great evening and shaves Gents...
Thank you for your kind words, Steve. Regarding the exchange, I'll have to decline as the snow and ice are the reason why I moved to Vancouver 22 years ago.
I like month long thread idea, much better. 1.01.2018 Schick Lady Injector Type K2 with a new Proline B20, just amazing.... peace jamie

Congrats on the GEM love. It does absolutly no good to flip a blade. Not sure on home many shaves. I prefer the Carbon Steel blades. Never have a good count on how many shaves. If you like the flying wing aka bullet tip, you should try the open comb micro matic.

Pre: Warm water face wash Brush: Omega 11137 Boar Soap: PAA Solstice Razor: Gibbs No.15 (on loan) Blade: Astra SP Post: Warm then cold water rinse, Floid Black AS As planned I cranked the Gibbs up to 5 and although it was still pretty smooth, the blade didn't feel as securely clamped as it does on 4. Maybe if thicker gauge DE blades were available, setting 5 would be my preferred setting but as it is, I find 4 a better overall shave.

Today's shave was another wonderful face-freezer and BBS in two easy passes thanks to my cherished 1950's Super Speed and the Astra blade which performed perfectly. The Glacial MITA soap lathered so rich, gave its famous slickness as well as a monstrous menthol sensation. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Snake Bite added their icy-cold contributions which I enjoyed so much! Enjoy your shaves and have a great day!
SOTD: 1/2/18 Razor: 1947 Milord Blade: Gillette Silver Blue Brush: Whipped Dog Silvertip Soap: Soap Commander Honor What a wonderful shave with this little gem of a razor that I received from @Linuxguile in the TSD Holiday Raffle. The razor has obviously seen many years of love by someone as the gold wash is worn off the edges of the doors (see pic). But that doesn't effect the functionality of the razor at all. With the GSB's the result was a two-pass BBS with no feedback from the Barbasol AS. I was never particular attracted to this style of razor (or the early Super Speeds); but was that a mistake! I'm lovin'this one! Herm
Nice razor, gotta love those injectors. Just bought a cased one just like it for my wife for Xmas. Herm
Tue. 1/2/18 A fine three pass shave this morning. I am smooth and refreshed. Enjoy your day friends. ☺️
