*DONE* PIF UK Wilkinson Sword Shave Bowl

Purchased in London last June, thought I'd give our CONUS soap fiends a shot at a Euro drug store product on me. Personally carted through US Customs by yours truly.

If you enter, I hope you choose to use it and start a thread about it over on the soap forum. I don't need credit, just want people to get another perspective. I will be using the product in February and would love to write on your thread.

How do I enter?

There are three ways.

Post a link to the YouTube video (or similar) for your favorite song when you were a senior in HS.

Or

Explain the difference between "mass" and "weight", in your own words.

Or

Post a picture of your absolute favorite shave brush, your "desert island brush", as it were.

The proverbial fine print:

Someone who does one of the above will be declared to be the winner.


This activity is open until somebody wins.

Winner will be selected somehow.

Cool PIF. I have been blessed way too much in the last month shave-wise, so I am not in.

 

Mass is the total number of protons and neutrons that make up a thing.
Weight is the resulting number after placing mass on a bathroom scale.

Whoa! My words. No Googling. 100% memory... musta been from high school. Why was that easier than remembering (or choosing) my favorite song from high school?

I am in. Thanks for the PIF. In 1986 the Air Force recruiter played this for us in the HS auditorium. Afterwards there were posters outside that said “Aim High” & the students blacked the “A” out.

Mass is an inherent property of matter. Weight is a measure of the mass of an object as attracted to the mass of the earth.

If I could bring all three ferrules...

(Not in, but I'd like to see a picture of the shave bowl?)

"Mass" is a Christian church service (primarily Catholic); "weight" is something you lift at the gym to build muscle...

Not in because I'm not CONUS, but nice PIF, Chris.

 

That song is an all time favorite of mine.

I have one of those from Canada I think. Good soap. Not in. Great PIF.
