What Straight Razor Did You Use Today?

Tonight's shave was with an old Sheffield razor. I had a nice 2 pass shave, that left me near BBS. Very big, and heavy wedge of a razor, that's a silent whisker whacker.

Nice shave this morning minus darn near cutting off my ear. Have a good one. Very nice post shave feel with the Stirling.

 

Today's shave was with a German made Extra Hollow Ground razor. I had a 2 pass shave, that left me BBS, with minor touch-ups under the chin. This isn't the prettiest razor in the bunch, but it sure is one of the sharpest. I'm thinking of a re-scale on this one. The cheap plastic ones are cracking, brittle, and leave the blade loose. This one was a "Hail Mary" of a razor, for a few bucks, but turned into one of the finest shaving ones I have. It deserves better scales.

I sported my Friodur a few weeks ago. But, it's not a 7/8 th.

 

I’d sport one if I had one awesome razors, guys!

Real men shave with pink straights That's really a nice unique razor, Robert

 

I got that razor for a rock bottom price, because the seller almost couldn't give it away because of the pink. Clauss is such a good straight razor. I have a few others. He started out in Germany and came to Fremont, California eventually. Excellent shave.

 

Tonight's shave was with an old Sheffield razor. I had a very smooth 2 pass shave, with DFS results. I was rushed. At least I didn't get hurt. Excellent top shelf razor.

Beautiful razor and picture. Looks like a very nicely executed restoration! Or someone kept it in their sock drawer for 200 years.
