Razor: Gillette Aristocrat 1947 (Birth Year) Blade: Personna Platinum (8) Brush: 30 Day Crew LE with MS 2 Band Soap: Jeeves Of Husdon Street Turkish Bath A/S: Lucky Tiger Bowl: Junichi Tanaka Artisanal Scuttle Very cold this morning -39. The blade was on it's last legs, but I was able to get a good shave out of it.
-39 I would imagine being in a Turkish Bath myself. And I was complaining this morning with 19 degree weather.
OK, OK, I'll wish you another happy birthday! But, geez, how many forums do I have do keep up with? Have another happy!

Saturday's Shave Proraso Pre Shave Arko Shaving Cream Jayaruh #144 Wade & Butcher 5/8 CWR Thayer's Lemon WH Barbasol AS I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Arko Shaving Cream face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 Badger brush. I did two passes with the Wade & Butcher 5/8 and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Jan. 5,2018 Friday Razor: Personna Flex Head Blade: Gillette Twinjector (4) Pre Shave: Homemade Brush: VDH Badger Lather: Proraso Green AS: Aqua Velva/ Afta Newspaper Date: Sept. 10,1943 Returned to my favorite combo to compare with the "Guard". No contest, hands down for my favorite. The Gillette "Guard" is still well worth the money. Just a difference in quality (and money). A 2 pass, WTG/ATG a very small amount of clean up. I actually shaved this morning at 6 AM and no signs of 5 O`Clock shadow, it`s almost 3:30. I`m as smooth and clean as if I just shaved. A very Happy Camper wishing the same for all. God Bless. Bill
