My house is entirely packed for a home move and I’m leaving on a business trip. This morning I realized that I did not have access to any of my gear. I borrowed my wife’s setup and had a nice shave. The Body Shop Maca Root Cream Stirling Badger Brush Lady Gillette Gillette Silver Blue Blade (1) Proraso After Shave Cream Florida Water After Shave Have a great week! First empty tub @Drygulch
I don't know, Brian. There's at least one more shaves worth of product in that tub! Good Job Brian, one less soap to move!
Great lineup and photo Jason. I love the brass collar on the brush. Great photo Andrew. I bet the Proline was an experience in that aggressive of a razor.
Last month was the busiest this group has ever had with more post than ever. I guess you've already seen that we jabber about topics other than shaving. If someone mentions a subject that makes little or no sense, just ask. Because this thread goes all hours of the day and night a conversation might jump from one page to the next, or span across from last month to current. I prefer a night time shave myself. Gives plenty of time to do things right rather than the hustle and hurry of getting going in the morning. My work situation doesn't require me to be clean shaven, I do it because I like it. There is a magic decoder post that list many of these terms. I'm acronymly challenged myself. Anyone (Steve @swarden43 ) have a link? I saw several Early Birds have offered suggestion to help alleviate the razor burn. John's @Screwtape post has some golden nuggets that have been the cure for much of my early issues. Perry @PLAla has nailed it here. Don't "Chase the Baby" as in BBS (baby butt smooth). As your technique improves the beard reduction will too, and not at the expense of razor burn. Good Job 30 DC! I'll keep reeling em in, y'all keep training em up!

This is a great bowl and whips up a ton of lather in no time at all.
It is a Gillette Red Tip. Terrific shaver. One of my favorites. I think it was actually called the Superspeed Heavy as it weighs a but more than the standard Superspeed and is a bit more aggressive.
Gillette Red Tip. A more aggressive version of the regular Flare Tip. 1955-60, I believe. If you see one with a blue tip, they are slightly less aggressive than the standard. Edit- Sorry, I see Jim has already responded!
Beautiful picture, Doug. That snow doesn't look like -30 snow, it must have warmed up there quite a bit.
Awesome I saw it in an add and had the guy pull it from the tool box he was selling. For both of those $15 I just got to get them
